Between Kyle Animal Hospital and our sister hospital, Springtown Veterinary Hospital in San Marcos, we have seven veterinarians with over a century of combined experience. Because we are the largest combined practice in the area, your pet receives the benefits of our pooled knowledge without sacrificing the personal relationships so critical to good communication. To maintain this consistent communication between clients and veterinarians, we usually keep the same veterinarians at each hospital so that your pet is normally be seen by the same doctor. At this time, Drs. Mathews, Offermann, and Laukkanen are the primary veterinarians at Kyle Animal Hospital, while Drs. Nowland, Seaton, and Jordon spend the majority of their time at Springtown Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Guy Mathews is a 1993 honors graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. His special interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. Dr. Mathewshas been with Kyle Animal Hospital since the first client walked through the door in June of 1996.

Dr. Cord Offermann joined our practices in October of 2006 after spending three years as a small animal/exotic animal practitioner in Canyon Lake. Dr. Offermann is a 2003 graduate of Colorado State University, and has a special interest in exotic animals, primarily reptiles.

Dr. Casey Laukkanen joined our practices in March of 2011 after spending thirteen years as a general practitioner in locations from Anchorage, Alaska to Texas. Dr. Laukkanen is a 1998 honors graduate of Colorado State University, and has special interests in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, feline medicine, and preventive dentistry.

Dr. Dan Nowland is a 1984 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Veterinary Practitioners. Dr. Nowland's special interests include orthopedic surgery, dermatology, and emergency medicine. Drs. Dan and Sally Nowland head the operation of our sister hospital, Springtown Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Sally Nowland is a 1984 honors graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a board-certified ABVP Specialist. Her special interests include internal medicine, avian medicine, and exotic animal medicine.

Dr. Cherry Seaton is a 1979 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include pediatric preventive medicine and exotics. Dr. Seaton spends the majority of her time at Springtown Veterinary Hospital.

Dr. Angela Jordan is a 1997 graduate of Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine located at Virginia Tech. She practiced medicine in a mixed-animal practice in Wimberley for three and a half years but now is focusing on small animal medicine. Her special interests include geriatric medicine, ophthalmology, and internal medicine. She spends the majority of her time at Springtown Veterinary Hospital.
